MONEY
MISSING FROM SALLY KERN’S CAMPAIGN WARCHEST
August 11, 2009
So, it goes to reason that when you close out
your last campaign and have a remaining balance that is transferred to your new
campaign, the closing and opening balances should be identical. Well, somehow
between the end of the Citizens for Sally 2008’s last report and the new
Citizens for Sally 2010’s opening coffers
a little chunk of change is missing. Yes, Frau Butchy Kern your friendly
neighborhood Team Gossip Boy has been
snatching up your ethics commissions reports and have (again!) come across a
pesky ole discrepancy.
Exhibit One: Citizens for Sally Kern 2008 Final C1-R Report

Exhibit Two: Citizens for Sally Kern 2010 Beginning C1-R Report

Now note how the beginning balance is to be a carry over
from line 25 of your last C1-R? That would be $14,915.23,
but all that managed to get to the new campaign was $13,014.33. That means
$1873.90 is missing. We know Frau Butchy didn’t spend it on clothes, because
Goodwill doesn’t charge that much. So where is it? Maybe
we should see if there are Motel 6 receipts
under the name of Mike Reynolds for that amount. Then there’s the
possibility
that Frau Butchy’s sciatica has been kicking in and Mike Reynolds’
therapy isn’t
as good as Vicodin. We don’t know. All we know is there is nearly two
grand
missing and this time it isn’t from OKC Pride Inc, who really doesn’t
have a
pot to piss in anymore anyway - but they are getting advice from
anti-gay figure Bob Funk's employment agency's attorney Richard Ogden.
***cough***sell out***cough*** That
reminds us: Why would you refuse to put the banners up during Pride
after this Community spent so much time, effort, and money...and still
continue to sell rights to those Pride banners you won't put up during
Pride? October, snotober.
As usual, Nancy K. Sullivan, Kern’s gal pal and campaign treasurer, claims to be away from her desk and unable to view the records for comment. We’re still waiting for her response from last fall about the $1,269 Kern spent last summer from campaign funds on football tickets.
