'MILK' MOVIE LIKELY COMING TO OKC

October 8, 2008

The eagerly anticipated movie MILK about the life of gay political pioneer Harvey Milk will be making its U.S. premiere on October 29th in San Francisco and then will be put into limited release on November 26th. Sean Penn plays the title role under the direction of film maker Gus Van Sant. Co-starring in the bio-pic are Emile Hirsh, James Franco and Josh Brolin.

Gossip Boy has spoken with Focus Films, who are distributing the film, and there are no set dates for the movie to play in OKC or Tulsa, but reps state the movie will likely play here once it goes into broader release. We will keep on this as well as on local theaters to book the film.
