Kern Opponent Marlett Praises Gossip Boy, Hints At Future Race

During the race between Sally Kern and Ron Marlett, Gossip Boy did two investigative reports exposing Kern’s campaign finances and her ties to neo-fascist groups. We, also, provided unpublished information to the Marlett campaign. Normally, as a news site we’d not involve ourselves in such a direct fashion, but because Kern is a sworn enemy of the LGBT community and we are sworn guardians, we funneled information to Marlett.

On Saturday, November 15^th, we received the following letter:

James,

I wanted to thank you for your help during the campaign. Although I wasn't successful in unseating this fascist, I think I will be if I run in the future. I only had 7 months to put together a campaign and get name recognition. Despite that I did 8% better than the previous Democrat who ran against her and 5% better than the state average in a dismal year for Democrats. I owe you for some of that success. I used your information in print ads. Thanks again and keep up the good work. The pressure on this lady should never cease.
