Senator Jim Inhofe (R-OK) gets upset when people get upset over torture.

After photographs leaked from Abu Ghraib prison that showed Americans torturing Iraqis, Inhofe said he was more “outraged by the outrage” than by the actual abuse.  The 40 year career politician and failed businessman was one of a handful of U.S. Senators who voted against the Detainee Treatment Act of 2005, which would’ve banned torture.

As for LGBT issues, Inhofe is quoted as saying, “As you see here, and I think this is maybe the most important prop we’ll have during the entire debate, my wife and I have been married 47 years. We have 20 kids and grandkids. I'm really proud to say that in the recorded history of our family, we've never had a divorce or any kind of homosexual relationship.” He mentioned nothing about the family heterosexually copulating with each other.

Perhaps no family member is willing to come out knowing what goes on in his basement, when people displease him.

He wants a Constitutional amendment that would ban gay marriage and is against including LGBTs in hate crime legislation and has no problem if they’re discriminated against in the workplace. Additionally, he blocks the nomination of any gay person coming up for a vote.

He will not put any openly gay person on his staff and prefers instead to hire people who are ultra conservative and Christian. His holier-than-thou staff once caused his computer system to crash after downloading substantial amounts of lewd lascivious pornography.   

Jim Inhofe is considered one of the most dangerous foes to human rights in the nation.
 

Called the lap-dancing whore of the oil and gas industry, Inhofe thinks that part of the U.S. Constitution is a hoax – the separation of church and state. Some say he is too busy swindling people around Skiatook to have time to read the U.S. Constitution, so should be forgiven. On the floor of the Senate he demanded that the U.S. policy towards Israel should be grounded in the Bible, which is something he has read only partially, because he prefers skipping over those annoying passages about that peace-loving beatnik Jesus.  As a United States Senator, Inhofe was required to take an oath to uphold the Constitution. He’s not a man you’d want to trust at his word. 

It appears Inhofe’s religious beliefs are decidedly well beyond that of rational thought and goes towards the lunatic fringe section. He is a Dominionist. Dominionists believe that biblical code must be forced on all. If that means imprisoning and torturing someone until they convert, so be it. The goal of Dominionism is to take control of the earth and punish all non-believers into submission, so that God will be pleased and deem the world worthy of His return. Like Sarah Palin, Inhofe is anxious to manipulate world events to an extent it brings on Armageddon.

Lunatics so enthralled at the chance to meet their maker, should take a page from the 'Heaven's Gate' book and leave the rest of us out of it.
 

For you conspiracy buffs, Inhofe’s middle name is “Mountain”. Yes, Mountain. Dominionism involves the “Seven Mountains” which are a mandate that members must control the seven mountains of the world; one being government. Basically they want to take over government, religion, family, education, media, business, and arts and entertainment, which will give them complete dominion over the world. In Revelations the Seven Mountains are where the Whore sits. Dominionists believe they must turn everyone into believers and that can be achieved by torture.    

Inhofe seems to advocate anything that involves the use of torture. Who would Jesus torture?

Ayatolah Inhofe wants the Constitution to be rewritten and separation of church and state and overall Democracy be stricken, so that America can become a theocracy and church leaders can govern.  Then he could merrily skip around torturing anyone he dislikes, so you gays, environmentalists, and brown people better be careful. Fuzzy puppies and kittens should take extra caution.

Our editor here at Gossip Boy is someone that has experienced seeing torture in Nicaragua caused by Inhofe’s buddy Oliver North and the Contras, while working as a correspondent for United Press International. Inhofe’s friend left mass graves full of tortured victims – many women and children who had been raped. At the time, human rights groups stated that torture was the primary method for the Contras to wage war. With North’s deep involvement in the brutal attacks, it is little wonder Inhofe would respect him so much.  

“My crew spent three months headquartered next to a Miskito Indian mass grave that had been left in the wake of North and one of his CIA torture teams in association with the Contras. At night we’d hide underneath an overturned donkey cart, as drug traffickers tied in with North and the FDN [Nicaraguan Democratic Force] would come out of the jungle and dump fresh bodies,” James told us.

According to James, North and the CIA believed that the only way to control the communist agrarian workers would be through kidnapping, torturing, and killing them, as normal methods were failing. It was to be Democracy at any cost. North was not just trading guns and drugs, he was using his CIA crews to teach effective torture techniques to the FDN.

He concluded, “A normal person’s reaction to seeing a person tortured - be they man, woman or child - is disgust and sorrow. It wounds you internally. Yet you have people like Inhofe and North that take pleasure in harming and degrading others and don’t see it as something wrong. Inhofe’s reaction to hearing about torture is one of defensiveness and that begs the question, why?“  

The US military and CIA operates the 'School of the Americas' (Renamed in 2001 the Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation) for Central and South America. The sinister institution was given the nickname School of Assassins and the motto "We Do Torture" by news reporters covering the region. US personnel train Latin American soldiers at a facility in Fort Benning, GA and in the field in areas like interrogation techniqes and commando training.   Since the US began the program, graduates have been implicated in hundreds of thousands of acts of torture, rape, assassination, and abduction against religious workers, student organizers, and peasants. Inhofe is a staunch advocate of the mission.  

President Ronald Reagan in talking about his secret war in Nicaragua, a tiny impoverished nation who he considered an imminent threat to the US said, “The United States is engaged in a war on terrorism, a war for freedom.” In the end it wasn’t so much about terrorism, but about nation building…and about getting weapons for Iran which were originally intended to displace the Ayatolahs but turned instead against Iraq. Reagan was, also, supplying aid to Iraq and this playing each other off on the other would lead to the destruction of relations between the US and Iraq. Reagan’s nation building exercises, an attempt to keep the region safe from the Soviets, who in the end wanted nothing to do with Central America, resulted in the brutal deaths of 300,000. The citizens there were safe; safely stashed away in mass graves.

Reagan’s secret wars were exposed by numerous journalists reporting about the atrocities and the gun running to Iran. Reagan escaped punishment, due likely because most government documents were destroyed, but several members of his administration were convicted for various crimes, including Oliver North.  

Side note: As president, George H. Bush a former director of the CIA, pardoned all those involved. One of those pardoned, Admiral John Poindexter, who had been convicted of lying to Congress, conspiracy, obstruction of justice, destruction of evidence, and other charges, was in 2002 made George W. Bush’s Director of Information Services and given two hundred million dollars to create computer dossiers on all 300 million Americans. Members of Congress immediately took steps to end funding to the program.  

Over the years Oliver North has contributed extensively to Jim Inhofe’s campaigns and Inhofe as returned the favors. It always help to make sure you have a buddy in high places that will help keep certain documents classified, so that you don’t end up in SuperMax for life.  Like Inhofe, North had no problems with Abu Ghraib or advanced interrogation techniques (a/k/a torture) at Guantanamo Bay and who knows what joy they get out of the torture being conducted in secret prisons via extraordinary rendition. They both believe waterboarding should be a standard practice here in the United States.

Waterboarding appeared before the Spanish Inquisition and was banned throughout Europe during the Enlightenment of the 1800’s. It regained popularity in the 20^th Century with the Japanese during World War II, the French in Algeria, and the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia. Japanese interrogators were charged with war crimes for the use of waterboarding after WWII.

The torture technique involves restraining a person and simulating drowning. Extreme pain, psychological and organ damage, and even death can result. Inhofe thinks this is okay, so let’s see if he has the balls to go through it himself.     

It’s time for Inhofe to be on the receiving end of the torture he loves to see inflicted on others. Therefore, James is calling the two-bit punk out and throws down this challenge: Public event. James and Jim get waterboarded. Let’s see who breaks first. Let’s see who the better man is - the queen or the punk.

Now our “stunt” likely won’t occur, as someone like Inhofe is too arrogant and too cowardly to take part in such an event, but it’ll be fun to run around calling him a wuss for awhile.
