RADICAL CLERICS BLAIR & KERN PUSSY OUT AT DC HATE RALLY
November 16, 2009
It was the anti-gay hate rally that pansied out, as the nation’s leading homophobes and radical clerics put themselves on the national stage and fizzled.
For weeks radical clerics like Paul Blair and Steve Kern, both of Oklahoma, had ranted and raved about how they were going to march up the steps of the United States Department of Justice and defy the Matthew Shepard and James Byrd Jr. Hate Crimes Prevention Act. They suggested the possibility of being arrested for the words they planned to say and the sermons they were scheduled to preach. From the Sooner State they were joined by Dan Fisher of Yukon.
The issue that had been bullied against from the pulpit since the act’s passage, turned out to be the Washington DC non-event of the year.
Like everyone else involved in today’s rally, when it came time to make their stand, Paul Blair and Steve Kern cowered and sniveled. No harsh words were spoken. No hate acts were endorsed. No acts against gays were incited. By the end of the rally the troupe of radical yokels had come off much more timid and mild than the words they normally proclaim from behind the safety of their keyboards and pulpits where they have a no-risk gay hating congregation to validate their buffoonery. The event was so lackluster it didn’t even garner the attention of the national news media.
Prior to the rally, speakers had promised to cite passages from the Bible that call for the execution of homosexuals. Yet in front of the microphone they kept mum about such things and spoke of the love they had for homosexuals and wanted to pray for them.
It could be they were simply scared of the counter protesters that had gathered in opposition. As they return to their hotel rooms and their homes, it will be interesting to see if they can locate their online backbones again. It is certain, however, that when they are not surrounded by their like-minded supporters, they’re just a pack of pussies. Bullies and bashers require their target to be much weaker than themselves, so they’re not going to act very tough when they are met equally.
To put it plainly, when put to the test Paul Blair and Steve Kern shit their britches.
So, gays and lesbians around the country can this night not be worried about the incitement of hatred against them, but laugh at the yellowness of their enemy, who were much too frightened to cross the battle line they’d drawn.
This is the second embarrassing failure in recent months for the neutered duo, as back in July they joined with Kern’s wife, Rep. Sally Kern, to sponsor the Oklahoma Citizen’s Proclamation for Morality, which among other things blamed gays for the nation’s economic woes. They aspired to gain so many signatures that they would present the proclamation to none other than the President of the United States of America and Congress. After four months the “We the People of Oklahoma” paper version of the proclamation gathered less than two hundred signatures, while the online version barely surpassed a thousand with many endorsers claiming anonymity, were from out of state, or signed multiple times and for their children.
At present, the floundering proclamation they claimed spoke for Oklahoma’s 3,642,361 citizens, but which couldn’t get the support of even a fraction of one percent of the state, remains far away from President Obama’s desk in the Oval Office. Rep. Kern has removed mention of the proclamation from the front page of her website and placed it in the archives. A link to a national version called the US Citizens Proclamation for Morality has been removed from the lawmaker’s website after obtaining only 155 supporters.
Clearly, not only have Paul Blair and the Kerns become an embarrassment to the state, they’ve become an embarrassment to themselves.

Edmond, OK radical cleric Paul Blair speaks in front of an audience that was comprised of no media
for the press conference and onlookers that numbered in the single digits.
(Note the lack of news logos on the microphones.)
Circling the homophobes to the rear were gay rights supporters with signs.

Rep. Sally Kern’s wife Steve Kern stood somberly near Matt Barber,
probably thinking about how much a wash out his trip to AC/DC was.
The ugly chick is Janet Barber, who came to Oklahoma in July to preach gay hate and scare young children.

Blair hadn’t had so many gay men behind him since the old days at Levi’s.

The whole group of wimped out losers.

The Gay Boys of DC intimidated the disappointed homophobes into submission.
A lot of suits will be going to the cleaners Tuesday morning.
UPDATE November 12, 2009
Joining with Blair and Kern on the DC trip will be Pastor Dan Fisher of the Trinity Baptist Church in Yukon, OK. Both Blair and Fisher defied U.S. tax law last year, when they were part of a group of 33 pastors across the country that told their congregations to vote for John McCain in the presidential election. Federal law prohibits clergy from endorsing candidates from the pulpit. They seem more intent on finding ways to challenge or getting around law instead of tending to their flocks. Two additional groups are expected to join with the others at Monday’s DC rally. They are the Christian Defense Coalition and Iowa Baptists for Biblical Values. The CDC is helmed by Rev. Patrick Mahoney, who led the fight to keep comatose Teri Shiavo alive, led rallies to endorse Judge Roy Moore's displaying of the Ten Commandments, and is a former national spokesperson for Operation Rescue. The Iowans are little known on the national stage and did not rise as a group until April of last year. Although not named on their website, their fearless leader appears to be Bradley Cranston, a pastor for Heritage Baptist Church in Burlington, IA, that has been pushing himself into state politics.

SALLY KERN HUSBAND TO BE PART OF DC HATE RALLY --PAUL BLAIR ISSUES PRESS RELEASE MONDAY
Ministers Rally in DC for Religious Freedom
Contact: Pastor Paul Blair, 405-348-1745
WASHINGTON, Nov. 9 /Christian Newswire/ -- On November 16, 2009, at 1:30 PM, an ad hoc coalition of concerned ministers from various denominations will be holding a Press Conference and Rally for Religious Freedom in front of the Department of Justice.
A group of ministers including Rick Scarborough of Vision America, Gary Cass of the Christian Anti Defamation Commission, Bishop Earl Jackson of STAND America, Paul Blair and Steve Kern of Reclaim Oklahoma, Pat Mahoney of the Christian Defense Coalition, Brad Cranston of Iowa Baptists for Biblical Values and Jim Garlow, a leader in the Prop 8 battle in California will join together with others and boldly preach Biblical truth concerning the subject of homosexuality. If believing and proclaiming the Bible is considered a Hate Crime, then they are willing to be arrested, if necessary, in order to stand for the guaranteed First Amendment right to free speech for all ministers of the Gospel.
Pastor Paul Blair, founder of Reclaiming Oklahoma for Christ, said, "Pastors have preached the Bible in America for over 400 years, pointing people to Jesus Christ and standing against sin. If preaching the Bible is now against the law, then let us be arrested. If not, may every pastor across America know that he can stand strong and proclaim Biblical Truth without fear of persecution or prosecution."
Mat Staver, Attorney and Founder of Liberty Council, has agreed to serve as legal counsel for the ministers and will join them at the press conference. A letter will first be delivered to Attorney General Eric Holder asking that this Law not be enforced as it violates the Constitution.
Various legal institutes have offered opinions on the new Hate Crimes Law including this one by the American Center for Law and Justice:
"... hate crimes legislation ... creates separate classes of victims. This law makes it a more severe crime to commit a violent act against a homosexual than to commit a violent act against a senior citizen, a mother, or countless other classes that could be viewed as meriting special protection. Rather than prosecuting all crimes equally, this law creates a special victim class based on 'sexual orientation' and 'gender identity.' This...(could have a) chilling effect on religious speech ... While we firmly believe that the pastor's First Amendment protections would ultimately prevail, this law could put the pastor's constitutionally-protected speech under a legal microscope."

Paul Blair & Reclaim Oklahoma Leading
Sponsor for November DC Gay Hate Rally
November 8, 2009
Gossip Boy has confirmed that Edmond, OK Pastor Paul Blair, and his group Reclaim Oklahoma for Christ, is one of five participating organizations heading to Washington DC on November 16th at 1:30 pm to rally in front of the Justice Department to preach hatred towards gays and lesbians. This is an attempt to force U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder to enforce the new Matthew Shepard & James Byrd Jr. Hate Crimes Prevention Act. It appears Blair may even be second in command for the hate fest.
Our site is the first of any media in the country to bring you specific details about those now involved in the rally and how key players relate to each other. Much of what we’re reporting hasn’t even been announced by participants yet, but we were able to gather the insider details.

Paul Blair
According to a new group calling itself the Religious Free Speech Rally, “The Rally for Religious Freedom is meant to raise alarm over the nation's new Federal "hate crimes" law just passed by Congress and signed last month by President Obama. The intention of the rally the group is to assert the freedom of speech of ministers and Christians in general to declare biblical truth in the public square. The Rally will also expose the unconstitutional nature of the hate law.”
It was also stated in documentation that Gossip Boy uncovered, “Ministers from various denominations will preach from the Bible, especially those parts that speak to the sin of homosexuality. This will serve to reassure ministers and Christians that they are free to do the same.”
Besides founding Reclaim Oklahoma for Christ, Paul Blair, a former professional football player, pastors the Fairview Baptist Church in Edmond, and was recently appointed by Coral Ridge Ministries to take over the work of the late Dr. D. James Kennedy by heading the revamped Reclaim America for Christ. Kennedy’s group was said by the Americans United for Separation of Church and State as "just another Religious Right outfit obsessed with opposing legal abortion and gay rights and bashing public education."
A Wiki article states that the Jewish group Anti-Defamation League denounced Kennedy as "a leader among the distinct group of 'Christian Supremacists' who seek to 'reclaim America for Christ' and turn the U.S. into a Christian nation guided by their strange notions of biblical law."
Those beliefs include the public execution of homosexuals.
Blair, who has been seeking OKC media attention for the past eighteen months, is likely trying to now gain major television media recognition and bring a larger audience to the national group. His state group has gained notoriety since last year by hosting ‘God, Guns, and Gays’ events and helped to organize the ‘Rally for Sally’ in 2008 to show support of the anti-gay remarks made by Oklahoma Rep. Sally Kern. Also, he was by Kern’s side during July’s "Oklahoma Citizen's Proclamation for Morality" at the State Capitol where she tried to lay blame on the country’s economic woes on homosexuality. Kern and Blair intended to submit the proclamation to Congress and President Obama, but failed to obtain enough signatures for it to have meaning. The proclamation garnered just over one thousand signatures after months of being promoted, leading to a public embarrassment and failure for the duo.

At the July proclamation signing Blair is shown with Paul Sublett, an employee of Bott Radio Network where Sally Kern serves on the advisory board. Bott Radio’s founder is Richard “Dick” Bott was a notorious figure in the 1980’s for his white supremacy endorsement of Apartheid in South Africa. Now figures like Blair and Kern are leading a Gay Apartheid movement in Oklahoma.
He along with Kern’s husband, Pastor Steve Kern of the Olivet Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, have worked together in trying to eliminate gay literature in local libraries with the assistance of Mayor Mick Cornett. So far they’ve been able to have such writings hidden away from normal view.
Since Blair has become a public figure in the Oklahoma war against homosexuals, reports have been obtained suggesting Blair used to frequent several years ago an OKC gay bar last known as Levi’s where he was rumored to be involved in sado-masochistic activities.
Joining with Reclaim Oklahoma for Christ is lead organization the Christian Anti-Defamation Commission run by head organizer Gary Cass, and three other groups: Liberty Counsel, S.T.A.N.D., and Vision America.
Gary Cass, who founded the California-based Christian Anti-Defamation Commission, was formerly the executive director of Coral Ridge Ministries' Center for Reclaiming America from 2004 until 2007. It closed that year and has been dormant until a few months ago when Paul Blair was appointed to bring it back into play.

Gary Cass
Both Mat Staver of Liberty Counsel and Rick Scarborough of Vision America have attended events in Oklahoma on behalf of Reclaim Oklahoma for Christ.

Mat Staver with Rep. Sally Kern
Vision America, founded by Pastor Rick Scarborough is an organization for “patriot pastors”, like Paul Blair and Rep. Sally Kern’s husband Steve Kern, that has been toiling away at rewriting the United States Constitution and distorting the beliefs of the Founding Fathers. They believe that the First Amendment only applies to clergy in that the freedom to assemble is for congregations to gather in worship, the freedom of speech is meant for sermons, and the freedom of the press is meant for the distribution of writings distributed by the clergy.
After the hate crimes act’s passage last month Scarborough stated, "This is a sad day for America. While a small minority of homosexual activists are celebrating, thousands of pastors, priests and rabbis are lamenting their loss of First Amendment freedoms. I for one refuse to bow before this unjust and unconstitutional law, and I intend to continue to preach the whole counsel of God as revealed in Scripture."

Rick Scarborough in Oklahoma
In January 27, 2008, Scarborough attended a ‘Great Awakening’ event in Oklahoma sponsored by a Who’s Who of Oklahoma Gay Haters: “Bethel Community Church/Deer Creek (Dale Borth, Pastor), Church of God Outreach/Guthrie (Wayne Murphey, Pastor), Fairview Baptist Church/Edmond (Paul Blair, Pastor), First Baptist Church/Moore (Kevin Clarkson, Pastor), Heritage Baptist Church/OKC (Marty Brown, Pastor), Mt. Gilead Assembly/Newcastle (Chiles Hutchison, Pastor), Newcastle Christian Church (Rod Rieger, Pastor), Olivet Baptist Church/OKC (Steve Kern, Pastor), Southern Hills Baptist Church/OKC (Doug Melton, Pastor), Sunnyside Baptist Church/OKC (Ken Smith, Pastor), True Vine Ministries/Spencer (Floyd Wilson, Pastor), Christian Heritage Academy (Ralph Bullard, Ambassador), and KQCV Radio (Paul Sublett, GM).”
Wayne Murphey the Church of God Outreach in Guthrie is the father of Oklahoma State Representative Jason Murphey. That church’s members along with Steve and Sally Kern have been tied to a cult called Hand Up Ministries in Oklahoma City that houses over a hundred dangerous sex offenders, most child molesters, and who we discovered as having purchased a daycare center in the Metro.
The ‘Great Awakening’ also saw the cooperation of several Oklahoma lawmakers: Rep. Mike Reynolds, District 91; Rep. Paul Wesselhoft, District 54; Rep. Richard Morrissette, District 92; Rep. Purcy Walker, District 60; Rep. Randy McDaniel, District 83; Rep. Charles Key, District 90; Rep. Rebecca Hamilton, District 89; Senator Anthony Sykes, District 24; and Todd Pauley, from Rep. Mary Fallin’s office.
We’ve also discovered that joining with the five organizations for next week’s rally is Pastor Jim Garlow of Skyline Church in San Diego, CA. Last year has he helped lead the fight to outlaw gay marriage in California, he released the following video:
Representatives of the November rally groups will be presenting Attorney General Holder with a letter from Mat Staver of Liberty Council, which will claim the unconstitutionality of the act and detail specific legal challenges they plan to make.
Cass previously released a statement that said:
"In other nations, like Canada, where hate crime laws have been enacted, it is Christians, specifically conservative Christians who hold to the historic Christian faith and it's values, that become the object of institutionalized, governmental hate."
"Christians who dare to tell the truth about the social, moral, spiritual and health consequences of illicit homosexual acts are accused of hate speech and intimidated into silence with threats of fines or jail."
"The fact the hate bill had to be passed in such an unscrupulous and cynical manner (attaching it to the Defense Authorization Act) reveals the depth of President Obama's commitment to a radical, anti-Christian agenda. He will stop at nothing to undermine the will of the majority of Americans to pay back militant homosexual activists who raised millions of dollars for his campaign and worked to get him elected."
"To sign the bill in the Rose Garden is another slap in the face and shows the level of contempt President Obama has for the majority of Americans who oppose the "homosexualization" of marriage and public education."
"The Christian Anti-Defamation Commission will soon be announcing its plans, along with other leading pro-family groups, to defy, counter and challenge this unconstitutional attack on our religious liberty."
Of course now we’re getting a clearer understanding of what those plans are to be.
Members of the group, like Paul Blair, hope to be arrested and fulfill their previous prophecy that the Pedophiles Protection Act, as Blair publicly calls it, is “a gateway to criminalizing public opposition to homosexual, bi-sexual, and transvestite behavior.”
They want to show America that they were right from the beginning and the act’s passage is a step towards criminalizing Christianity and limiting their ability to speak against homosexuality. However, the act, clearly says:
(3) CONSTITUTIONAL PROTECTIONS - Nothing in this Act shall be construed to prohibit any constitutionally protected speech, expressive conduct or activities (regardless of whether compelled by, or central to, a system of religious belief), including the exercise of religion protected by the First Amendment and peaceful picketing or demonstration. The Constitution does not protect speech, conduct or activities consisting of planning for, conspiring to commit, or committing an act of violence.
(4) FREE EXPRESSION- Nothing in this Act shall be construed to allow prosecution based solely upon an individual's expression of racial, religious, political, or other beliefs or solely upon an individual's membership in a group advocating or espousing such beliefs.
There’s no risk of prosecution to them and they’re likely aware of that. Thus their grandstanding could be just to incite violent acts against gay men and women and gain publicity doing it. They’ll have a national media stage to spread their condemnations against homosexuality and promote the Biblical idea that gays should be put to death.
The only way they could be arrested is if they deliberately call for people to commit violent acts against homosexuals. Just preaching against gays won’t be enough to break the law, so if they truly are intent on being arrested they will have to cross the line and call for harm against gay people.
Gossip Boy columnist Hunter recently released a transcript of Blair’s sermon at the Fairview Baptist Church in Edmond, OK against the hate crimes act that promotes the conspiracy that others are trying to criminalize Christianity. That can be viewed here in its entirety. In that sermon, Blair used a slide, Hunter was also able to retrieve, that is rather disturbing in it’s context with the sermon.

If you notice the slide asks are you a terrorist and then lists a number of items like the belief in or opposition to illegal immigration, same sex marriage, economic recession, outsourcing of jobs, etc. All rather innocuous, but thrown in towards the end is “VIOLENT CHRISTIAN IDENTITY”.
Already Oklahoma State Senator Steve Russell has announced plans to introduce legislation that will ban Oklahoma law enforcement from cooperating with federal authorities in the investigation of a hate crime. You can read our story on that here.
